Scarf Versatility: Cheetah Pashmina Infinity Scarf

This is one of our new fall scarves and we are totally obsessed with it! Cheetah print can be over bearing sometimes, but when used in an accessory like a scarf or shoes, it can be super cute! Fall Scarf Preview

Here at Marie Kay Designs we have been busy getting ready for the fall season! Scarves are a huge must have in any woman's wardrobe once the temperatures start dropping. We love dark, rich fall colors so we have been hunting down some beautiful fabrics to use in our fall scarves! We are so excited about these prints that we couldn't keep them to ourselves so we just have to give a little sneak peak...

Scarf Versatility: Rust With Cream Colored Dots

Rust orange is a great fall color, but it can be hard to match and make outfits for! In this post we have created three looks with our rust with cream polka dots scarf to give you all some ideas of how to wear this color!

The first and last of these outfits are pretty casual, but we wanted to show how you could make a more wintery outfit like the one with leggings and boots, or a more fall outfit with jeans, a tshirt and Toms! The middle outfit is more dressy and if you have ever met Ashley, you know that a skater skirt is her favorite thing in the world to wear, so this is one of her favorite looks.

Scarf Versatility: Grey with Black Lace Scarf

We will hopefully be doing many posts similar to this to show off our scarves and all of the great looks you can get from just one scarf! We will generally show one casual look, one dressier look, and one formal look for each scarf just so you all can see that an infinity scarf is great for truly anyone's wardrobe!

This black and grey scarf is one of my favorites because it is so soft and comfy and black and grey match practically anything! The pictures below are of three totally different outfits Ashley made with just this one scarf.

As you can see, these looks are all so different! I mean one has pink, one teal, and one purple! The outfits you could make with this scarf are endless!

Scarf Versatility: Blue and Brown Chevron Scarf

This newly added scarf is one of our absolute favorites! It is so soft and comfy and has several great colors to pull out in an outfit! Ashley has made up three completely different looks with this scarf to show it's great potential in your wardrobe! The first is a super casual look, perfect for lazy winter and fall days for class or running errands! The second is a bit dressier but still quite casual with a denim shirt dress and sandals for early fall days. The last look is much more sophisticated and could be worn to work or out to dinner on a cold winter evening! Check out these looks below!

Scarf Versatility

With Ashley being in college and Katelyn caring for two small children, we understand the importance of a budget! This is why we think scarves are a great addition to a wardrobe because of their versatility! To illustrate this Ashley has made up a few totally different looks using just one scarf as the main accessory. The scarf is a bubblegum pink color with white interlaced hearts on a super soft and lightweight fabric! It is perfect to match with black or brown outfits and thus silver or gold jewelry. Below are the outfits Ashley has created!

Not only do these outfits show versatility in the look that you want to create, but also that it can dress up an outfit for any season!

Infinity Scarves with Pockets

It has been seen on Pinterest that some people have the idea to make infinity scarves that also include pockets! We think this is a wonderful idea. We would like to give this option to our customers but we are not sure how! Would you guys prefer that no scarves come with pockets and that it is an additional price to add the pocket, or that only some scarves come with the pocket? Comment or email us with your opinions on this!

Lace Scarves

So I have always been obsessed with lace and I have seen super cute lace scarves on pinterest and what not so I decided to try it the other day! The picture below is the first one I tried and it is already on Etsy! If you would like to purchase it, it's only $13! But there are only two available!

This one is a light blue lace over a super pretty tannish brown color knit! I really love how it turned out and the lace is so soft and drapes wonderfully! I think it would really look great with many fall outfits!

We will be trying out more lace color combinations soon and we will be adding them to the shop and most likely posting more pictures here!

Current Favorite Scarves

 Hello all! So since it is getting closer to the fall season we will be adding more and more scarves daily to our Etsy shop so be sure to check them out! We are super excited to be adding lots of fun fall colors and patterns! In this post I just wanted to post my current scarf favorites!

The top left chevron scarf is great for summer! It is super lightweight and the bright colors are so fun. Plus, who doesn't love a great chevron?! With the whole nautical style really coming in this season the top right navy and white striped scarf is wonderful! I love the variations in the stripes and that the simple two colors can match a lot of outfits! On the bottom left is another one of my favorites because of course, I LOVE pink, and hearts! And finally, one of my all time favorites is the pink and white striped scarf on the bottom right. The white is almost like a sheer lace and gives such great dimension to the scarf! Plus it is extremely comfy to wear!

I hope you enjoy my four favorite scarves that are currently available in our etsy shop! I of course love all of our scarves but I just thought I would share my favorites and the ones that are really in style right now.
